Breedon are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our small, friendly Credit Control team based at Lockington, near Derby. As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for the management of the sales ledger and maximisation of cash flow.
The key responsibilities are as follows:
- Cash collection
- Management of sales ledger accounts
- Recording of all communications using a bespoke collections system
- Weekly collections forecasting
- Risk analysis
- Regular liaison with sales team
- Problem solving
- Complex reconciliations
- Working towards and understanding given targets
- Monitoring of overtrading
- Management of credit limits
- Provide holiday cover for team members
- Query logging
- Banking
- Other duties as requested by line manager
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of written and numerical literacy, as well as good negotiation skills and the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines. You will also be able to clearly communicate financial matters and have the ability to work alone and successfully as part of a team. You must be CICM level 2 / studying towards CICM level 3.
