Engineers from a Civil or Structural Background will enjoy managing the coordination of the Civil and Structural work packages on a Major Data Centre construction project in the Benelux region. Manage day-to-day site operations, lead the delivery of the CSA package in conjunction with Project Manager, working closely with the subcontractors and Client representatives for a major Tech client.

This leading M&E Contractor are now becoming the subcontractor of choice for many European Data Centre projects. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the co-ordination of the Civil and Structural work packages.
  • Management of Site QA in conjunction with Project Manager and team including set up management and close out of file
  • Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Planner, Project Managers, Sub-Contractors and consulting Engineer/Architect in relation to Client requirements
  • Management of all costs associated with Project with the support of the project QS
  • Management of all day to day site operations
  • Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels
  • Review drawings and setting out details
  • Liaise with design team and project coordinator to ensure necessary information (as required by construction team) is prioritised (where necessary) and issued is issued in accordance with construction schedule

Personal Requirements

  • Ability to think methodically and possessing strong problem-solving skills to resolve design and development issues
  • Degree qualified in Civil or structural Engineering or equivalent essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill is desirable
  • Experience working in Data Centre sector preferable
  • Minimum 5 years of site management experience essential
  • Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets
