Job Title: CSCS Painter
Location: Gloucester Royal Hospital, Gloucestershire
Pay Range: £18 - £20 per hour
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Are you a skilled painter with experience in working on steelwork, looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced painter to join our team at Gloucester Royal Hospital. As a Hospital Painter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's infrastructure and ensuring it remains a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Priming and painting steelwork throughout the hospital premises.
- Surface preparation, including sanding, cleaning, and applying coatings.
- Ensuring the highest standards of quality and finish.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Keeping a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience as a painter, with a focus on steelwork.
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Health and safety awareness in a construction setting.
- Reliable and punctual.
