JOB TITLE: Gateperson, Traffic Banksman
INDUSTRY: Building and Construction
START DATE: ASAP
SALARY BAND: £14 - £15 an hour
LOCATION: Bristol, BS9
Gateperson required in Bristol to join the team on a new build housing site. Reporting to the Site Manager the day to day duties will include ensuring contractors park in allocated areas, banking plant and delivery wagons safely and managing traffic flow through site. The role will require good communication and organisational skills as there will be elements of liaising with both contractors and the general public.
Site is accessible via public transport and has free onsite parking.
Working hours will be 7.30 - 16.30 Monday to Friday with the potential for weekend work.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Banking and overseeing plant and machine movement
- Banking delivery vehicles on and off site
- Marshalling traffic through site
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- CSCS Card
- PPE
- Traffic Banksman Qualification
- Previous experience as Gateperson/ Traffic Marshall with references
