Customer Care Coordinator Job in East Midlands

I have a Customer Care Coordinator job with a top 10 housebuilder based in the East Midlands. My client is preferably looking for someone with a minimum of 12 months experience with a housebuilder as a Customer Care Coordinator. They are offering a basic salary of up to £27,000 + hybrid working.

With over 2,000 staff spread across nearly 15 regional offices, my client is one of the largest housebuilders in the country. They are looking to add a Customer Care Coordinator to their already well established customer care team. There are currently 3 active sites with around 500 units in warranty. Your role is to provide a professional and efficient service to the customers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Always maintain a professional attitude
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of housebuilding to build customer confidence
  • Make sure you put the customer at the forefront of what you do
  • Assist management with day to day activities
  • Work within the guidelines of the NHBC standards
  • Manage customer expectations by explaining how you are going to resolve issues
  • Take ownership of queries, resolving issues by yourself
  • Escalate more complex issues to the Customer Service Manager
  • Create and issue work instructions on the internal systems
  • Make sure maintenance technicians diaries are fully organised
  • Always comply with company policies
  • Produce and maintain plot files

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 12 months with a housebuilder as a Customer Care Coordinator
  • Extremely organised
  • Confident in dealing with customers' needs
  • Calm whilst under pressure
  • Ability to produce reporting information
  • Literate in IT and Microsoft
  • Flexible and adaptable to deal with different challenges
