Customer Care Maintenance Operative Job in Cambridgeshire

I have a Customer Care Maintenance Operative job with a top 10 housebuilder covering multiple developments in their eastern counties division. The company is looking for an experienced maintenance operative to join their growing team. The role is offering a basic of £35,000 + company van + bonus

Our client is a 5* housebuilder and provides homes all over the UK. With over 20 divisions and 3,000 employees, this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the biggest housebuilders this country has to offer. As a Customer Care Maintenance Operative, you will be carrying out inspections and maintenance work of new homes whilst keeping a good relationship with the customers. You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Care.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Log completed maintenance and follow up when required
  • Be in regular contact with the customer care team so they are informed of any further work that is required
  • Have good communication with customers so they are well informed about the work being carried out
  • Effective and proud of the work you carry out so it is completed to the highest standard
  • Carry out inspections and raise issues that need to be followed up
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines whilst working on your own initiative
  • Committed to working safely and securely at all times

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in working as a maintenance operative
  • Ideally background of working with another housebuilder or in the industry
  • Multi trade experience such as carpentry or plumbing etc
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Able to work to tight deadlines whilst working on your own initiative
  • Committed to working safely and securely at all times
