Customer Care Manager Job in Northamptonshire

I have a Customer Care Manager job with a top 10 housebuilder based in Northamptonshire. My client is looking for someone who has experience managing a customer care team with another housebuilder. You will be responsible for a team of 5 and report directly into the Head of Customer Care.

With nearly 1,200 employees spread across 9 offices throughout the UK, my client has been building houses for over 50 years. They are looking to add an experienced Customer Care Manager to their team in the South Midlands. Your role will consist of supporting the management and organisation of the Customer Care department by providing an excellent level of customer service to purchasers post completion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the running of the department
  • Make sure purchasers receive expert levels of customer service
  • Report repeated issues so it allows for intervention at an early stage
  • Create great relationships with other departments
  • Review work undertaken by the technicians regularly
  • Quickly acknowledge and resolve complaints from purchasers
  • Follow up on any reports by contractors to resolve outstanding issues
  • Assist with the defects inspection
  • Attend meeting that may be necessary for your performance
  • Undertake additional tasks that may be required
  • Set KPI's that are challenging when contracting new maintenance companies
  • Deal with customer complaints ensuring you are using the escalation policy

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience dealing with customers in a housebuilding environment
  • Experience managing a team
  • Full awareness of the NHBC standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Great technical knowledge of the housebuilding market
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
  • Being a team player is vital
  • Proactive problem solver and decision maker
  • Full driving licence

What you get back
