Full-time, permanent position

Breedon are currently seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our Norton Bottoms Distribution Office, Lincolnshire.

Role Overview

To receive customer orders, then plan and co-ordinate the delivery of concrete while maintaining a high level of truck utilisation. To provide an exceptional level of customer service with a focus for on time delivery.

Key accountabilities and work outputs

  • Telephone and email contact to and from customers
  • Timely response to customers' enquiries, queries, and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
  • Proactive planning and tracking orders to completion
  • Cost effective dispatch planning of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
  • Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
  • Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required
  • Communicating effectively with commercial and production teams and also haulage partners
  • Identifying and contributing to managing your own personal development in collaboration with your line manager

Excellent written and communication skills are essential, plus the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Previous experience working in concrete market is desirable though not essential as training will be given. A good familiarity of the local geography is desirable.

You will be required to be flexible in the hours that you work, as the role will involve working some Saturdays.
