Breedon are currently seeking a Customer Services Agent based at Dowlow Quarry, Buxton

Working within a team in a fast paced environment you will be responsible for dealing with customer orders and processing them, arranging and allocating transport to cover all dry work from our Dowlow and Ashwood Dale Limestone Quarries. The office also provides a distribution centre for a network of local concrete plant which we deliver to on a daily basis.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and emails contact to and from customers.
  • An adept and timely response to customers' enquiries, orders, and queries and complaints in an efficient manner.
  • Proactive planning allocating and tracking orders to completion.
  • Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively.
  • Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required.
  • Communicating effectively with commercial, production and haulage partners.
  • An ability and desire to adapt cross functionally as and when required.
  • Identifying and contributing to managing your own personal development.
  • Full compliance with Competition Act 1998.

Good verbal skills are essential and previous experience in the concrete markets is required along with a familiarity of the local geography.
