We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Customer Service Planner to work as part of the asphalt customer service team at our Head Office at Bardon Hill. This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract. About the role Reporting to the Customer Service Planning Manager you will be accountable for the production of an optimised, mixing programme for a selected region for the Asphalt business. Other elements to the role include: Deliver efficient and optimised mixing programmes, maintaining agreed service cost balance via ESS Work closely and collaboratively communicate with business units, Senior Customer Service Planner, and Senior Logistics Planner to provide service solutions that meet and exceed our customer service specification Build closer relationships with our Customers both internal and external Negotiate delivery time slots to ensure the mix programme is achievable Monitor and review accuracy Work collaboratively with other regions to maximise overall service offering Delivery of continuous improvement efficiency targets within regional planning operation Collaborate with the team to develop best practice to meet with organisational objectives Communicate with the team and key stakeholders regarding the daily plan to ensure all Customers orders are fulfilled with optimum benefit for both the Customer and the Business Work within the defined processes to ensure the team is working as efficiently as possible Ensure satisfactory resolution of claims and disputes Maintain awareness of health and safety Provide varied reporting information and advice to both Aggregate and Asphalt businesses What will you bring?
