Breedon is a leading construction materials group in the UK and Ireland. We operate two cement plants, around 80 quarries, 40 asphalt plants, 170 ready-mixed concrete and mortar plants, nine concrete and clay products plants, four contract surfacing businesses, six import/export terminals and two slate production facilities.

We are currently seeking a driven and ambitious Customer Services Supervisor to co-ordinate ready-mixed concrete deliveries in a busy market. You will be based in our office in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Distribution Manager with their daily tasks
  • Helping plan the Transport Fleet
  • Timely & accurate input of all customer concrete orders
  • Cost effective dispatch planning (shipping) of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams
  • Timely response to all customer enquiries and complaints
  • Specific support to the pre-planning of major contracts or schemes in terms of production and transport capacity planning
  • Flexibility with regards to hours to cover for sickness and holidays as required

We are looking for a professional, experienced Customer Services Supervisor who can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage and shipping. You will be an excellent communicator and be a proactive self-starter who can build effective relationships both with colleagues and customers.
