We at Protocol are partnered with a highly reputable and forward thinking Higher Education group in the North Yorkshire area to recruit a Cyber Security Lecturer to deliver third year degree level modules from the Cyber Security course for 5 days per week until the end of February 2020. This establishment offers not only state of the art purpose-built facilities but high quality learning solutions to all students as well as highly professional staff who invest in their learners; providing a combination of impeccable teaching and professional experience to continually inspire the next generation of young professionals.
A centrally located campus is not only easily accessible but situated close to the beautiful North Yorkshire coast offering picturesque views for all. We are seeking a flexible and dynamic individual with a professional Cyber Security background but also that of excellent teaching practice within Higher Education.
Role responsibilities
Delivering the allocated IT and Secure Programming module with any additional subjects if required
Supporting students both pastorally and academically
Lecture research and planning
Maintaining student motivation
Perform any administrative tasks as a when required
Participate in any relevant staff training
Continually inspire learners
The person & qualifications
Hold a Masters qualification in Cyber Security/Secure Programming or relevant Professional experience
Hold previous lecturing experience at degree level as a minimum
Adaptability
Sound subject knowledge
High levels of student engagement
