Protocol are proud to be working with an independent training provider offering bespoke leadership apprenticeship programmes and specialising in leadership qualifications. We are looking for a Data Administrator on a full-time and permanent basis based in Durham.

About the role:
As data administrator you will be responsible for the learner data required to meet ESFA requirements to ensure full compliance in generating government funding, you will support the Operations manager to produce high quality data that enhances our apprentice learner journey and contribute to our ability to meet Ofsted, awarding body and ESFA regulatory requirements.

Role responsibilities:
* Collate and quality assure data from a variety of sources, including external partners to ensure it is input accurately and effectively into our management information systems.
* Assist with the preparation of data for statutory and other returns.
* Ensure the efficient, accurate and timely collection, recording and reporting of learner data and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
* Promote the highest possible standards in customer care, equal opportunities and health and safety practices for the benefit of learners and the wider community served by the company.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults served by the company.
* Review, check, and input data taken from a variety of sources into our information systems, including applications, enrolments, withdrawals and transfers, checking thoroughly for accuracy and making amendments as appropriate.
* Identify to Curriculum any quality issues when requesting withdrawals, transfers, reinstatements or when merging learner records.
* Ensure the effective maintenance of learner data on our information systems and the appropriate storage and disposal of student data in line with GDPR policies.
* Ensure the accurate preparation of data for statutory and other returns to funding agencies and awarding organisations.
* Contribute to the collation and preparation of data for internal and external audits as directed.
* Assist with the investigating and resolving of errors on the returns to funding agencies, including identifying evidence required to verify data and liaising with appropriate managers to obtain evidence.
* Assist in running standard reports as required using a number of company systems and ensure errors from validation reports and other returns are accurately corrected.
* Respond to queries and enquiries from staff and support staff.
* Undertake routine clerical work, including word processing, preparing spreadsheets, photocopying, filing and batching and distributing source documents for data collection.
* Undertake other duties as requested by the line manager in line with the grade remit and scope of the post.

Key performance indicators:
* Ensure monthly completion and submission of detailed tracking sheet, together with learner evidence to maintain compliance in line with organisations funding contracts.
* Support organisational retention, success, and achievement targets.
* Monthly reports submitted to manager that support organisations strategic business plan.
* Quality improvement responsibility. Focus, plan, implement and evaluate all areas for improvement relative to the successful compliance and delivery of funding contracts to meet the Education inspection framework.
* Support succession planning within the compliance department.
* CPD updates per month.
