We at Protocol are recruiting for a college in the flourishing borough of East London. We are seeking an established Data Analyst Trainer to train level 4 apprenticeship students for at least 6 months. Flexible on hours but approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, some weeks maybe more and there would be some travel potentially to Manchester every 4-6 weeks for a day at a time, expenses paid. The training rate per hour is £30 and the admin rate is £20. The admin rate would apply to any interactions with the apprentice/employer that are explicitly training e.g. progress review meetings.
Role responsibilities
We are looking for a keen and committed Data Analyst trainer with a strong Python programming background
The ideal candidate will lead, develop and deliver high quality data analyst and Python curriculum to apprentices for Digital Skills Solutions
This will be through classroom, online training sessions and coaching in the work place to our data analyst apprentices across England
Adhere to all college policies including Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding
Assessment and training of learners needs
Implementing correct teaching and learning strategies
The person & qualifications
Occupationally competent and experienced in data analytics and programming.
Strong experience using Python, Pandas, Numpy and other frameworks and libraries.
Experience of working with data virtualisation tools such as Python, R, SQL, PowerBI, Excel etc.
Experience of delivering training.
An understanding of apprenticeship delivery.
Experience in coaching apprentices or training in or out of the workplace
Experience in delivering occupational skills
Experience of teaching in an education setting
Experience of working with on line portfolio systems such as Smart Assessor
Knowledge of quality assurance, qualifications and risk assessments.
Familiar with safeguarding and relevant procedures
Degree in Data Science or Data Analytics, Programming or Computer Science EMC Data Science Associate or any other relevant qualification
Teaching Qualification Required
