About the role:
You will report into Operations Insights Manager and will help the team in building, developing, and maintaining dashboards, covering a wide variety of data sources and performance metrics. You'll work with a wide variety of data, including financial, supply chain and logistics data to provide comprehensive insights to support the supply and global commercial team and other departments within Pharmanovia.
The department has an ethos of continuous improvement, refining systems and creating efficiencies. This, along with the rapid growth of the business, leads to a varied and dynamic working environment.
Main responsibilities:
* Ensuring data (covering production, inventory, and logistics) is received in a timely manner from our partners or internal departments and support automation projects across the business
* Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Identification of trends and insights using tools such as Power BI
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
* Conducting root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of operational issues and develop recommendations for corrective actions
* Supporting the development and implementation of new operational initiatives, such as process automation and supply chain optimization using AWS tools
* Supporting project teams, translating data into informative visuals and reports
* Communication of findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
About you - what you will need to have:
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering
* High capability in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
* Advanced Excel skills - experience working with Pivot Tables, VBA and Power Query
* Power BI knowledge (or similar tools e.g. Tableau)
* Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Statistical Programming knowledge (Python/R)
* Experience working with AWS and ideally some knowledge of supply chain management concepts and principles
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and experience in operational analytics preferred
