We're looking for a Clean Water Delivery Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks (NRNN) Team, based in the Southwest. In this role you'll be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.

Location: Exeter

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

In the role of a Delivery Manager, you will lead and be accountable for a multi-disciplined operational team across a large geographical area, ensuring works are performed on time, to specification and within specific Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental guidelines. Productivity and cost benchmarks, HR management and SHE targets shall be set and you will manage, monitor and report on these on a regular basis. You will also maintain close liaisons with stakeholders and will have to ensure that programmes are updated regularly to show progress.

Your day to day will include:

· Ensuring your teams are put to work safely and are adhering to the high standards expected by Kier

· Overseeing construction activities and managing a team of supervisors and site teams

· Short and long-term planning of resource, plant and materials requirements,.

· Liaising with Client operational staff, Highways Authority, customers and the supply chain

· Assisting, promoting, and completing internal & external audits as required

· Participating in a standby and shift rota covering 7 days a week.

What are we looking for?

This role of Delivery Manager is great for you if you have experience with:

· Managing and developing staff by setting clear objectives and undertaking regular appraisals

· Managing emergency events on the water network (or equivalent)

· Understanding of contract obligations and entitlements

· Managing an area of the business with a degree of autonomy
