Dental Nurse required for busy Carlow dental practice. As a valued member of our clients team, you will work alongside dedicated clinicians in an environment that fosters a strong team culture and provides support in your role.
Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly and enthusiastic individual with high standards and experience, who is passionate about delivering quality dental care.
- Flexible,
- Ability to work on their own initiative,
- Enthusiastic approach to their work.
- Motivated, organised, and demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
- Experience working with periodontists,
- Implant dentistry, and prosthodontists exp is essential.
- Additionally, attention to detail in clinical notes and a caring nature when interacting with patients are vital attributes.
- Fluent English required
- Minimum 2/3 years experience essential
The role as a Dental Nurse:
- Providing clinical chair-side support to dentists,
- Ensuring requirements are met,
- Providing excellent patient care,
- Updating patient records,
- Setting up decontamination of instruments,
- Managing clinic appointments,
- Recording/charting notes as directed by dental professionals,
- Maintaining the dental surgery using appropriate protocols,
- Ensuring adequate supplies and cleanliness of equipment ready for immediate use.
Additional duties may be assigned by the Principal or Senior Dental Surgeon/Nurse as required. Please note that this position requires willingness to travel from time to time to other clinics and availability to work on Saturdays.
