My client are one of the UKs leading online Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) course provider. We wish to employ an experienced Initial Teacher Training (ITT) professional to help in the development of new courses for SKE, ITT, CPD and Teaching and Learning. Recent expansion in courses offered, new partners and ongoing course development mean that we require staff with ITT experience to contribute across all parts of the business. You will help develop resources to support our existing courses, assist in the marketing and promotion of our client nationally, tutor on our SKE and ITT courses, and work with senior staff in developing new courses.

They are a small vibrant company that aims to offer new approaches to teaching and learning. We seek staff with a good understanding of ITT in secondary schools who can adapt to new technologies and help in continued development and growth.

The purpose is to contribute to the development of new courses and the running and ongoing development of our existing SKE and ITT courses. You would play a leading role in course design, preparation and promotion. You would also act as a tutor for our trainees and support the day-to-day activities of the business.

Role responsibilities
Help to develop and execute the company's business strategies to attain the shared goals of the client.
Contribute to the preparation and development of resources for our existing SKE and ITT offerings.

Take a leading role in the development of new courses for SKE, ITT, CPD and Teaching and Learning.

Writing and development of key documents to support our courses such as trainee and tutor handbooks.
Provide strategic advice to the principals of the organisation.
Represent us at recruitment events, partner visits, conferences and other forums where you would act as the public face of the company in ways that strengthen its profile.


The person & qualifications
Relevant honours degree or equivalent
Postgraduate Teaching qualification
Relevant teaching in Secondary schools
ITT course and/or Curriculum development
Delivery of ITT training (PGCE and/or School Direct)
