Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire
We are currently seeking a Deputy Rail Manager at our Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone internal to progress.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
* Full and up to date certification for locomotive operation to Network Rail standards
* Thorough understanding of the competency requirements for locomotive drivers and rail group standard rule books
* Experience of controlling safety within rail infrastructure including management of contractors
* Knowledge and understanding of rail track inspection / maintenance programs
* Excellent analytical skills with proven strength in understanding complex business processes and problems
* Sound understanding of business management systems including relevant Standards e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 9001 & ISO 45001
* A proven ability to act with diplomacy and fairness
* Highly organised and driven with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
