The Company

This Birmingham based company continue to go from strength to strength and with a second factory being built just 25 miles from their existing home there has never been a more exciting time to join them. As the UK's premier timber home manufacturer, you will be joining an actively expanding business who are looking to double their footprint.

The Role

We are looking for a Design Coordinator who wants the opportunity to progress their career and have the opportunity to develop themselves as the company goes from strength to strength.

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Technical Manager and the duties are to coordinate all received enquiries and assess all the information to ensure the response back to the client is within the set timescale. You will support and work with other areas of the team such as Commercial, Designers and Tech Admin where necessary. This will enable you to ensure projects are planned into the designers planner for completion.

The Design Coordinator role is integral and you will make sure that targets are met and deadlines are achieved for clients, from handover through to design and manufacture and end product. You will assist the Project Engineers with initial data folders which will include project control documents to make sure jobs are kept on track and follow the correct procedures

About You

  • You will be organised with a logical and methodical approach to achieving tasks and objectives.
  • Be able to project manage with the ability to plan and schedule works effectively
  • You will be a great communicator with an ability to communicate effectively

Qualifications and Experience

  • Data platform knowledge such as Excel or Dynamics
  • Ideally you will have experience of utilising design software.

  • A salary of £23k - £28k plus benefits package awaits the successful candidate
  • Hybrid working is available after the first 6 months with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
  • There is also flexibility working hours some of the team work 7:30 - 15:30 others 8:30 - 16:30 as an example.
