Design Engineer
Summary
This is an exciting & rewarding opportunity for a customer facing Applications Engineer to join a Global Manufacturer with an ambitious growth strategy allowing for excellent progression opportunities. You will be based just outside Nottingham at the European Headquarters and occasion will get the opportunity to travel to customer sites across Europe.
The Company
Our client has been manufacturing for over 50 years supplying high quality, cost effective silicone and advanced polymer based products into the Automotive, Heavy Duty Truck, Aerospace, Industrial and Rail markets.
The Candidate
The expectations of a successful candidate would be to work as part of small but close knit team in offering value engineered solutions to meet customer demands.
Ability to liaise and work with other members of the Engineering team on design, project, production and quality matters
Read and understand technical specifications and customer drawings
Support customer visits, audits and technical enquiries.
Travel with sales team to provide technical support at the customer.
Be involved in the design process from concept through to manufacture
