Experienced Design Engineer opportunity - key role in team with a company who take pride in developing their staff and promoting from within. Due to continued growth this established and successful company have a strong order book in a competitive yet growing market sector.
We seek a skilled Design Engineer with experience in designing construction related materials and solutions. Possible backgrounds could include cladding, curtain walling, kitchens, bathrooms, structures, panels, plumbing, M&E services, MMC / offsite construction, mouldings or similar - training is available in their specific products.
You will be working closely with both the design team and manufacturing to help develop and improve new and existing products. You will be working in projects nationwide and frequent travel and occasional overnight stays will be necessary.
The company uses the AutoCAD Solidworks and BIM modelling systems to great effect in both design and product development as well as helping to win business through its 3D presentation capabilities.
Additional needs:
Design for manufacture approach is essential
Preparation of detailed designs for manufacture
Knowledge of building regulations is important
Accuracy and attention to detail
