Design Manager - Industrial Projects Location: London & Northern Home Counties Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (All-Inclusive Package) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in industrial projects? We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven individual to join our growing team and lead the design delivery across a portfolio of industrial developments in London and the Northern Home Counties.

About the Role: You will play a key role in managing the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure design compliance, programme efficiency, and high-quality outputs across all industrial schemes - including warehouses, logistics hubs, and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all design activities throughout the project lifecycle

Liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured and met

Manage external design consultants and technical teams

Ensure design information is issued on time and aligns with project programmes

Lead design reviews, manage design risk, and support value engineering initiatives

Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, and technical standards

What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Design Manager on industrial projects

Strong understanding of UK planning and building regulations

Ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams

Excellent communication and coordination skills

A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
