Salary up to £30,000
A leading provider of premium quality modular and portable buildings for use in every industry and market sector, including health, education, transport, construction, defence, and telecommunications. They design and manufacture a range of exceptional specialist buildings, including eco-buildings, blast and fire-resistant buildings, pre-fitted gatehouses and pre-finished ready-to-install bathrooms.
The role:
:: Ensure that group standards and quality standards are complied with and maintained.
:: Preparation and submission of design drawings / paperwork to company functions.
:: Production of manufacturing drawings / information.
:: Provide sub-assembly / special / non standard fabrication details and prepare detailed schedules as required.
:: Produce / update detailed design 'CD' drawings, and where relevant seek appropriate professional advice.
:: Specification of special materials and design details.
:: Design Risk Assessments and compliance with CDM.
Requirements:
:: Degree qualified in construction related discipline
:: Previous experience in a design role
:: Software experience AutoCAD and Inventor is essential
:: Advanageous if you have experience in any offsite construction design (modular, steel frame, timber frame)
:: Attention to detail and strong communcation skills
