Development Manager Job in London

My client currently has a Development Manager job available in London working as part of the residential development division of one of the UK's largest development and regeneration businesses.

As the successful Development Manager, you will be working on large scale regeneration developments across the UK from the initial concept through to completion. Many of the developments are joint ventures with other business such as local authorities, other house builders and landowners. This position will be 1 - 2 days per week from the office in London and the rest of the week working from home or site.

Role & Responsibilities

- Responsible for master planning

- Responsible for project costs and budgets

- Responsible for development marketing

- Delivery of developments on time and in budget

- Assist with planning appraisals and applications

- Assist the Development Director

Required Skills & Experience

- Development management experience on large scale residential developments/regeneration

schemes

- Strong understanding of the planning system, development policies and local/national political agendas

- Experienced in planning appraisals and S106 negotiations

- Commercially minded

- Able to outline potential risks

- Previous experience managing project costs and budgets

- Development marketing experience
