A residential-led mixed-used real estate development company with a focus on value-add developments, urban regenerations and refurbishments have a requirement for a Development Manager to join a team of 10.
As a Development Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex development projects from inception through to completion. You will manage the internal development and construction team.
Your role will require:
- Developing relationships with agents, consultants, landowners to identify new opportunities
- Carrying out due diligence and ensure sites have been technically, legally and commercially appraised
- Developing the Project Business Plan & Outlining the Development Brief into the Final Development Brief with the Sales and Marketing Team.
- Appointing the design consultants
- Preparing and submitting the planning applications
- Establishing, monitoring and managing the project master programme
- Managing preparation of design and construction estimates
- Preparing project viability appraisals and managing them through the project lifecycle
- Managing the consultation process
This is a great opportunity for someone to get exposure to the whole project life cycle and as such, we are looking for an ambitious person with at least 7 years of development management experience (of at least 200 units), with a passion to learn, and looking to progress quickly.
