The job
You will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching of Vectorworks, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite courses at beginner, intermediate and advanced level as well as the BTEC level 3 course. You will deliver consistently good or better teaching sessions and motivate learners to raise their ambitions and realise their full potential.

Do you qualify?
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
*An honours degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
*A recognised full teaching qualification or (in exceptional circumstances), evidence of enrolment on a PGCE
*Experience of teaching Vectorworks, Sketchup and the Adobe Creative Suite at beginners, intermediate and advanced level
*Experience teaching 16-19-year-olds and adults
*Experience teaching students at BTEC Level 2 and Level 3
*Enthusiasm and commitment to developing teaching, learning and assessment to provide students with a positive learning experience
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate staff
*Proven ability to undertake organisational and administrative tasks efficiently and effectively
*Proven ability to motivate students and devise stimulating projects
*Knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations
*Proven experience of--and a commitment to--communication and implementing equal opportunities in education
*An understanding of the needs of disadvantaged learners
*Understanding the needs of mature/returning learners and those from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds
*Familiarity and experience working with networked Macs and PCs and the confidence to troubleshoot problems
*Ability to create and sustain a learning environment in which the safety and welfare of children and vulnerable adults is paramount
