The role:

  • Support the development of Digital Engineering, (Building Information Modelling), capability, related to the 'post win' project delivery phase, in line with industry best practice and emerging innovation and technology.
  • Support/manage the implementation of Digital Engineering, (Building Information Modelling), to the project design & delivery phase of projects by applying appropriate process and protocols at bid, pre-construction, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the development of 3D Model information and associated outputs, e.g. visual, logistical, 4D, temporary works, and quantification, to assist the project team to effectively communicate and deliver to critical agreed deadlines.
  • Support the evaluation of technology improvements delivered to support on-site delivery.

Experience:

  • Degree (or working towards) in Civil Engineering / Architectural Technology / Building Services / Structural Engineering or similar.
  • Foundation/Competent understanding of PAS1192 suite and the UK BIM Strategy.
  • Construction background/ understanding construction background and converting into modelling
  • Architectural modelling background
  • Experience using Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk
  • BIM360 2D/3D Microstation
