Job Title: Digital Finance Busines Partner - Construction

Location: As this role will be working nationally, it is an agile role offering home working along with travel to sites and offices when required for the business
Business area: Kier Construction - Clients & Markets
Contract: Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

We are recruiting for an exciting new role to join our Construction business as a Digital Finance Business partner to contribute to the delivery of our new Construction Digital Reporting Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and work with Construction FD and Reporting FD to maintain and control the current Construction Digital Reporting platform
  • Ensure Digital Reporting is delivered with quality timely, accurate information and ensure a framework of controls and reconciliations exists to underpin the whole digital data set
  • Support and work with Construction FD and Reporting FD to deliver the Construction Finance Digital Reporting Plan as part of the wider Kier Construction Digital reporting strategy
  • Support and assist with cash reporting in the digital reporting portal
  • Support and assist with developing and implementing overhead reporting into the digital reporting portal
  • Support and assist with developing and implementing Cost of Sales level detail into the digital reporting portal
  • Support and assist with developing and implementing Tender details into the digital reporting portal
  • Support the Central Finance Reporting team as required with management accounts, cash reporting, statutory accounts, forecasts and group reporting
  • Support the Reporting FD with improvements to all reporting across the Construction Division
  • Manage and develop the digital reporting inputs, engaging with the local Finance Teams to deliver a first-class end-to-end finance service
  • Work with Reporting FD to drive best practise on all reporting aspects on a consistent basis
What do we need from you?

For this new exciting role, we are looking for a fully qualified accountant who can produce high quality management information. You need to be capable of liaising with, supporting and influencing operational and commercial management. Technically capable and commercial aware is essential whereas construction experience is desirable.
