Our client - a nationally recognized name in the energy and infrastructure space - is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead strategy, execution, and innovation across a portfolio of high-impact power projects.

The Role:

As Director of Engineering, you'll oversee multidisciplinary teams delivering complex energy infrastructure programs - including transmission and distribution systems, renewable integration, grid modernization, and generation projects.
You'll report into executive leadership and work in partnership with project management, operations, and commercial teams to ensure technical excellence and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor regional and national engineering teams.

Set technical strategy for power and energy projects (T&D, generation, renewables, etc.).

Oversee design and execution for large-scale infrastructure programs.

Interface with regulatory bodies, utilities, EPC partners, and key stakeholders.

Ensure all engineering activity aligns with safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Support proposal development, project planning, and client engagement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate: 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in the energy and power sectors.

Proven leadership of complex T&D, generation, or grid-focused projects.

Licensed PE preferred (or ability to obtain).

Strong commercial and operational understanding of utility-scale programs.

Excellent team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
