Distribution & Sales Coordinator

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
- Respond to all customer enquiries by issuing prices and quotations in a timely & professional manner and liaise with Area Sales Manager to ensure that products are priced correctly while meeting customer needs and expectations
- Follow up quotations and amend as and when required
- Taking customer orders and making sure they are delivered at the desired times through effective distribution & transport arrangements
- Liaise with Area Operations Manager to pass on any specific information on customer orders and products to ensure that stocks are in line with sales
- Liaise with Credit Control to resolve customer queries whilst ensuring customers trade within agreed credit limits
Working in a fast paced and challenging environment, you will have the ability to make the correct decision in a timely fashion, remain positive and think laterally whilst ensuring company targets are being met. You will also have the ability to manage competing deadlines by estimating timeframes, anticipate and react to problems and consider a solution in a timely manner.
You will work with colleagues and clients on both a formal and informal level and you will be an excellent communicator and a good team player. You will have exceptional customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and good computer skills and have experience of Microsoft Office.
