Summary

Gleeson have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to join our team. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for leading and advising on marketing activity within our North West and Cumbria regions. The role can be based our of either the St Helens, Rochdale or Cumbria office. Your main objectives will be to increase awareness, generate leads and encourage footfall to developments, whilst also supporting the regions' wider business objectives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and encourage footfall to meet the development's forecasted sales rate by utilising existing marketing channels and making recommendations for additional activity, ensuring all activity is monitored and ROI is evaluated.
  • Devise and activate divisional, regional and development marketing plans/strategies for coming soon and live developments, demonstrating future campaign and event planning.
  • Compile and circulate a monthly Divisional Marketing Report for key stakeholders.
  • Working with the Marketing Coordinator, ensure development marketing activity across all digital and offline channels is brand compliant, grammatically correct, engaging the correct audience/demographic and scheduled on-time.
  • Plan and prepare press releases and circulate press articles to key regional and divisional stakeholders.
  • Observe competitor activity by conducting competitor sites visits and visiting competitor webpages and social channels.
  • Assist regional stakeholders in the organisation and promotion of development and regional events, including show home openings, dignitary visits and charitable endeavours.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales colleagues, SMT and external agencies, ensuring all parties are aware of any specific campaigns, current development marketing strategies and messaging and CSR-related activity.
  • Conduct regular development visits throughout the two regions.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working within housebuilding (desirable)
  • 3+ years working in a similar marketing role (essential)
  • Driving licence (essential)
  • CIM or similar qualification (desirable)
  • People management and/or mentoring experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good eye for design and detail
