We are now recruiting for a Document Controller working across the Eastern and Midlands region to manage multiple project common data environments (CDEs) and train and support project users.
Key responsibilities
As a Document Controller within our team, you'll manage and maintain the CDE for the lifecycle of multiple projects on Viewpoint for Projects (VFP) and Asite, implementing and maintaining Kier document management processes and procedures, ensuring project stakeholders are trained and engaged.
To be successful in this role, you'll have advanced experience of CDEs and a solid history in document control. You must be an effective communicator, engaging and proactive in establishing and maintaining relationships. In addition, you'll be a critical and proactive thinker with diligent and exacting standards and have an awareness of company policy and governance when applying your strong troubleshooting skills.
What do we need from you?
You must have advanced experience with a CDE (VFP or Asite preferred) with underpinning knowledge of workflows and transmittals and the ability and willingness to train others on the use of these platforms. You will be competent with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Comprehension of industry standard naming conventions and suitability codes is also a prerequisite for this role, ISO 19650-2 National Annex strongly preferred, BS 1192 is fundamental. Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources is essential, a tier one environment strongly preferred.
