Are you an experienced Project Manager from an Electrical and Instrumentation background?
We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager in the field of Electrical and Instrumentation within the Pharmaceutical Construction industry. Our esteemed client, a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor, is currently seeking an experienced professional to manage a significant Pharmaceutical project in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a training plan for staff and operatives in collaboration with the Project Director.
- Manage and lead your site team effectively, ensuring seamless day-to-day site activities.
- Deliver the project within the given constraints of time and cost, ensuring compliance with program schedules, materials deliveries, engineering, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct monthly team meetings to assess project progress against milestones and strategize for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and conduct regular audits in alignment with the design plan, overseen by the Engineering Manager.
- Attend client meetings, maintaining strong communication and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly progress meetings with subcontractors, focusing on health, safety, and training compliance.
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors and Lead Engineers to control costs and sales effectively.
- Implement and enforce construction industry standards and local authorities' requirements, minimizing company exposure to risks.
- Manage labour and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with installation requirements.
- Develop and execute project work plans, adapting them as necessary to meet changing project needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, applying the client's methodology effectively and enforcing project standards.
- Audit and prepare on-site quality plans, monitoring and maintaining site Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
- Establish an efficient material stock control and storage system to optimize project operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade or Degree qualification in electrical or electrical and instrumentation discipline.
- Proven track record in the electrical contracting space, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a Project Management position.
- Previous experience in managing pharmaceutical construction projects is essential.
- Excellent people management skills, with the ability to motivate your team and effectively manage subcontractors on-site.
- Strong knowledge of the design and construction process, ensuring high-quality project delivery.
