Protocol are proudly working with a further education college in Derbyshire to recruit a new temporary member of staff in their Engineering Department until April 2020.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Assessor and Verifier who is available for 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday). The ideal candidate will hold an Electrical qualification (level 3 minimum) and have previous experience of assessing and internally verification of electrical installation up to level 3.

Role responsibilities
* Perform the role of internal verifier in accordance with V1 standards and occupational assessment strategy.
* To deliver training (1-1/group) as and when required, and evaluate the effectiveness of all training.
* To support the wider construction trades in improving learner opportunities, where appropriate.
* To carry out regular progress reviews with employer/learner in line with funding guidelines.
* To manage retention and achievement of learners allocated to your caseload. Ensure that individual targets are achieved.

* IQA (internal quality assurance) / IV (internal verifiers) award
* (Desirable) A teaching qualification
* Own transport
* Level 2 Maths & English
