Protocol are working with a fantastic college to recruit an Electrical Assessor/Trainer in Buckinghamshire to deliver up to level 3. This full time permanent role is to start in September.

This college does one of the most important jobs in the country - educating people of all ages to help them to succeed in life and create the skills society needs.





Role responsibilities
To deliver vocational training, assess and verify (where appropriate) College provision in a variety of environments, to enable candidates to successfully achieve their qualification in a timely manner.
To carry out regular student reviews as required and update student files to reflect achievements, including the updating of tracking sheets. Through the review process, set and monitor training targets that effectively link on and off the job training, liaising with the relevant employer
To ensure the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) is completed, updated and maintained for all candidates in liaison with curriculum staff and employers.


The person & qualifications
Must have Level 3 Qualification in relevant subject Assessor Award
Excellent knowledge of current occupational standards in the relevant area of work
Good knowledge of current issues in occupational sector
An understanding of, and demonstrable commitment to, Safeguarding Children and Young People (Every Child Matters) and Vulnerable Adults.
