I am currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer who has experience in the design of controls panels, along with hands on experience or knowledge of machine safety.
THE CLIENT is a privately owned and operated electrical engineering firm that specialises in the complete design, build and installation of electrical control panels and PLC's for the quarrying industry.
Everything from a simple junction box through to complex bespoke industrial automation.
They are looking to diversify and grow as a business, in order to do so they need a person on board who has a strong design background along who will be the company champion for machine safety and compliance.
THE CANDIDATE that we require will need to be;

Based in or commutable to Leicester
Possesses a strong career track record in Electrical Control Panel Design
Must either have a strong knowledge or hands on experience with machine safety & compliance
Having experience across EN, ULA/CSA standards would be useful
THE ROLE of the Electrical Design Engineer will consist of;

Electrical CAD design, component selection and creating a Bill Of Materials (BOM)
Ensuring the control panels you have designed are fully compliant along with meeting and exceeding machine safety expectations.
