We're looking for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join our Facilities management team where you will be covering Northwest London, Watford and the surrounding areas. Location: Mobile - covering areas across North West and West London.

Contract: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday & callout rota for out of hours & weekends



Responsibilities

As a Multi Skilled Electrician, you'll be working within the Facilities Management team on our Ministry of Justice contract, supporting them in the delivery of a Hard Technical Services solution.

Your day to day will include:

  • Providing planned & reactive maintenance to government owned properties including Approved Premises & Probation Offices as part of our prestigious public sector contract
  • You will deliver a combination of planned (PPM), Reactive and Extra Works engineering services
  • Whilst electrically biased, this role is multi-skilled and compasses various PPM tasks, including fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, basic plumbing, joinery and mechanical works along with other general maintenance works within your skillset
  • Electrical activities will include general electrical maintenance, testing, minor lighting and installation works, socket replacements along with other electrical reactive tasks


What are we looking for?

This role of Multi Skilled Electrician is great for you if:

  • You are a qualified Electrician with a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent. You have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • You will have experience with fault finding and reactive repairs who is able to conduct first line response of M&E equipment
  • You will have the ability to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks both mechanical and electrical
  • Due to the nature of this role, you should have a full driving license, be happy travelling to multiple sites across your specific location.
  • There is on-call and over time available.
