As an electrical fitter you will be on a starting rate of £12.69 per hour. This will then be reviewed after three months with the manufacturing and production client.

You will be working Monday to Friday. 07:30am-4:30pm Monday to Thursday. 07:30am-1:30pm on Friday.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • You shall take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and of other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work.
  • Assembly of machinery to meet manufacturing and production quality standards.
  • Being involved in continuous improvement on the Nottingham site.
  • Fostering a clean and tidy culture with a view to improve to a 5S culture at the Nottingham site
  • Undertake reasonable flexible working hours to meet deadlines in line with the working time regulations.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks appropriate to the role.
  • Have the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Have the ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing and production environment where efficiency and quality is essential.
  • Installation of cable management systems (trays and trunking).
  • Running pre-prepared cables/looms through the machinery.
  • Terminating cables, crimping and creating looms.
  • Installing and connecting electrical ballasts and transformers (3 Phase Machinery)
