ELECTRICAL FITTER - AUTOMATION

£18 -20 per hour (umb/ ltd)

Overtime Rates at 1.5 and 2x hourly rate

Contract Basis - Ongoing

Monday - Friday - Days Role

Overtime available

Peterborough/ Stamford/ Uppingham/ Bourne

My client is a specialist engineering firm based in the Peterborough area, this multinational engineering company design, manufacture, and maintain special purpose machinery. With automated lines and machinery being their specialism. The company has increased turnover dramatically in the last 2 years, and with an increased order book well into 2020 they need increase headcount.

THE ROLE OF ELECTRICAL FITTER

    Use of hand tools Working with Mechanical fitters Working from Schematic Diagrams Wiring point to point Wiring control panels Wiring machinery Working as part of a production team Working in a shop floor environment


THE RIGHT ELECTRICAL FITTER

    Experience of machine wiring Must have experience of special purpose machinery build or automated machines Apprentice background would be ideal Can read technical drawings Has worked as part of an engineering team previously Can demonstrate engineering knowledge Happy to work Monday - Friday Can be flexible with overtime
