A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join Kier Highways Street Lighting team based at Hilton Park Depot, Wolverhampton. The main purpose of this role is to provide assistance to the Electrical Contracts engineers in the delivery of street lighting and electrical routine/cyclic maintenance and Damage to Crown Property (DCP) works with providing supervisory duties as required. The main responsibilities include: The induction of electrical operatives into safety alerts, weekly Bulletins, Company policy/procedure changes and any other inductions required to be carried out. Briefing operatives on tasks to be completed on shift. Gather evidence for the HERS portfolios and Undertake onsite assessments/Q&A. The successful candidate will also participate on the Duty Managers Electrical Call out rota.
What do we need from you to be successful in this role?
- Proven experience working within street lighting
- Experience in managing a team
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- City and Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 or equivalent
- City and Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect or HERS 714
- City and Guilds 7671 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Full UK Driving license
- IPAF 1B, 3A & 3B
- ECS card NHSS 8
- 5-day SMSTS
- HERS QS Registered (desirable)
- HIAB/Lorry Loader (desirable)
- Class 2 HGV (desirable)
