We are working with a Further Education College based in Greater Manchester to recruit for an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer on a permanent basis. The College is currently rated grade 2 by Ofsted and is well on its way to Outstanding. we are looking for Lecturers to take this journey with them as they continue to move forward and grow.

You will be responsible for delivering on both full and part time programmes. Currently on offer are City & Guilds and EAL qualifications ranging from level 1 to 3. Also taught is the NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems as part of the electrical Installation apprenticeship framework.

This is a fantastic role at a great college where you can pass on your skills and knowledge to a new general of Electrical students. Staff plat a key role in ensuring students are prepared for the world of work by working with employers and apprentices in the workplace and in the classroom.



Role responsibilities
To teach students and apprentices up to level 3
To mark and assess students work
To develop and deliver best practice in learning, teaching and assessment
To provide regular feedback
To act as a personal tutor where required


The person & qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification or previous training experience
A minimum level 3 electrical qualification
Relevant and current subject knowledge
Able to work flexibly as part of the college team
