We're looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join our North West Utilities Team for our Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent contracts. Based from a mixture of our Sheffield office and on our sites you can enjoy knowing that you not only help manage projects that are beneficial for our employees but for the community.



Location: Sheffield - remote working may be available, with travel to the office and sites required

Contract: Permanent, Full Time - flexible and part-time hours may be available, just let us know



Responsibilities

As an Electrical Project Manager, you'll be working within the Kier Utilities North West Team looking after Projects for our clients Yorkshire Water and Severn Trent. You'll be supporting them in managing works on schemes between £5m-£10m in value on both clean and dirty water treatment plants.


Your day to day will include:

  • Provide active positive leadership of Health & Safety on site. Implement site safety documentation & contract plans to achieve the clients' requirements & specification
  • Responsible for driving cultural change into the Delivery/Design Teams to eliminate / minimise physical and nonphysical waste - i.e. recycling techniques and standing time etc
  • Oversee the management of site-based Delivery Teams and relevant areas of the supply chain to drive timely completion of projects, safely and within budget
  • Work closely with the delivery manager and program planner to proactively manage site performance.
  • To actively participate in collaborative planning and project rehearsals to ensure optimal buildability at design stage.

This role of Electrical Project Manager is great for you if:

  • Have experience in a similar role within the water industry
  • Understanding of UK Water regulations along with EUSR Water Hygiene, CSCS Card and SSSTS
