Dutton Recruitment are currently looking to recruit an Electrical Biased Sales Person / Supervisor. A good knowledge of electrical drawings and pricings would be beneficial however training can be supplied. This role would suit an operative looking to move into a more office based role.

PRIMARY TASKS:

  • Working leads and turning them into opportunities.
  • Contacting potential customers via telephone and email.
  • Arranging meetings with prospecting clients.
  • Identifying opportunities for new business within the market.
  • Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.
  • Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross sell within the group.
  • Pricing projects and understanding Technical Drawings.

BACKGROUND OF A SALES PERSON:

  • Confident, an attitude to learn and self-develop is crucial.
  • Ambitious, and driven personality with a hunger for success.

REQUIRED:

  • Previous Electrical Contracting experience desired but not essential.
  • Experience within a Sales role.
  • Experience in Tendering and pricing projects including:
    • Electrical Components.
    • Commercial Units.
  • Experience in day to day office management.
