We are Kier, one of the UK's leading construction and infrastructure services in the UK and we are looking for an Electrical Supervisor for a new 82MLD Water Treatment Works (WTW) to replace the existing Alderney WTW in Bournemouth Water supply area during AMP7.

The innovative design solution includes the use of ceramic membrane technology within the process solution. The works scope includes piled foundations, pre-cast & in-situ concrete structures, large process buildings, large diameter pipework and significant Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Site Manager in ensuring that the site is safe and that the team embraces a safety culture with routine site inspections. Ensuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered to whilst encouraging the teams to take a proactive approach to safety.
  • Supervising electrical installations on a large MEICA project, provide assistance to the electrical design team to manage design change whilst ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with South West Water Standards.
  • Working with mechanical, electrical and ICA colleagues to ensure activities are managed and coordinated, along with the schedule of works. You will attend collaborative planning meetings and have an active role in developing site delivery programmes.
What do we need from you?

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar MEICA site supervisor role
  • Experience with clean water sites and water quality procedures and process on new installations
  • City & Guilds Electrical Engineering qualification, SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS card and First Aid training required. EUSR Blue Card desirable
