Out client, a global leader in the design and construction of high-tech facilities, is looking for a skilled Electrical Technical Lead to join our team in Frankfurt. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a large-scale Data Centre project and contribute to the advancement of critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design: Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for the Data Centre project, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and client requirements. Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative solutions that maximize energy efficiency and reliability.
  • Project Management: Oversee the electrical aspects of the project from conception to completion. Develop project plans, manage resources, monitor progress, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including electrical engineers, designers, and technicians. Conduct detailed electrical calculations, perform equipment selection, and review technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to verify the integrity and functionality of electrical installations. Conduct regular inspections, perform testing and commissioning activities, and address any deficiencies to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Promote a strong safety culture within the team and implement measures to mitigate electrical hazards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster effective communication and collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Proactively address their concerns, provide technical expertise, and maintain strong working relationships to ensure successful project outcomes.

Personal Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in large-scale Data Centre or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven track record of managing complex electrical projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power Tools).
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC, VDE).
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive results and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working on international projects or within a multinational environment is advantageous.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in German is highly desirable.
