Who provide a diverse range of employer-led training, including engineering apprenticeships, degree courses and postgraduate programmes. The company has established strong partnerships with academia including the Universities of Manchester, Central Lancashire and Cumbria.

Due to expanding training business, Our Client is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. The position would suit a highly-motivated individual with a keen interest in the development and delivery of innovative and effective training programmes with a strong vocational element.

Duties: The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, project supervision, and curriculum development in the fields of electrical/electronic engineering and mathematics. Teaching duties will extend from Level 4 (FdEng) to Level 6 (BEng (Hons)).

Qualifications: Essential: A minimum of BEng Hons at Class 2.1 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a relevant engineering or science discipline. Desirable: A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline; Level 4/5 Teaching Qualification.

Experience: Desirable: Experience in the application of electrical or electronic engineering in an industrial, research or academic environment; knowledge of the civil nuclear industry.

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. For those without a Level 4/5 Teaching qualification or equivalent our client will expect that the successful candidate will undertake appropriate training and professional development, including working towards a recognised teaching qualification.
