Breedon are currently seeking an Electrician, based at our Ffestiniog Quarry in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales.

You will be a qualified Electrician / Electrical Engineer and have work experience in a heavy industrial environment, such as a quarry. Other requirements are as follows:

  • Time served Electrical Engineering craftsperson
  • Multi-skilled to include engineering maintenance
  • PLC and VSD Experience (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of electrical LV isolation
  • 18th Edition Wiring regulation BS7671 Certification
  • Good understanding of Electrical maintenance methods & techniques
  • Knowledge & experience of medium/high voltage networks including switching methods
  • A working knowledge of BS7671 inspection & testing - qualifications in this area would be desirable
  • A sound working knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment regulations
  • Computer literate
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Good team player

You will be required to be flexible in duties undertaken. The work locations you will primarily cover will be Ffestiniog and Cwt y Bugail Quarries but could be required to assist at any of our quarries in the North Wales area.

A full driving licence is essential for you to be considered for this role as you will be required to drive a company van.
