Salary: £35,000.00 per year
We are working on behalf of a main contractor who are a growing business, operating a huge number of partnering agreements for responsive repairs and maintenance services across Brighton, Hove, Crawley, and Horsham. We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their busy team, solely working responsive and planned property repairs.
The hours required are 42.5 per week.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking all aspects of electrical work including repair/renewal works, maintenance and fault finding
- Fuse board replacements
- Inspection, testing and condition reporting
- Smoke and CO alarm replacements
- Working alongside colleagues or contractors to complete complex orders
- Using PDA to receive instructions, and to feedback electronically details of works undertaken, or works to be undertaken.
Requirements:
- City and Guilds 236 (Part 1 and 2) in Electrical Installation
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services) or equivalent to the 18th Edition
- Experience with electronic job updating through smart phones preferred with ability to use a PDA and email IT equipment to record job information
