Salary: £40,000.00 per annum, inc benefits
We are working on behalf of a local contractor who are looking for an experienced Electrician to carry out reactive and planned maintenance works in occupied and void properties.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking high quality responsive electrical repairs, testing and/or installation works in domestic/communal areas and carry out associated remedial works identified.
- Installation of smoke detectors
- Liaising with tenants, clients and members of the supply chain.
- Maintaining van stocks and providing information enabling the improvements of first time fixes for the area you work within
- Using PDAs / mobiles to complete works, key communications, and updates.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual or automatic)
- 18th Edition - BS7671 (from January 2019)
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience in social housing, housing associations or domestic properties.
